Gena was born and raised in Arkansas. She and Ken Orr have been married since 1989 and they have 2 grown children. Her son, Chris Orr, and daughter, Jamie Miller traveled to Togo in 2016 for the first medical mission trip. Gena is an LCSW
therapist with Laureate Outpatient Clinic in Tulsa, OK. She has volunteered with LWDF for 3 years. She serves on the Board without a salary.
Joyce Folly-
Personal Committee Coordinator
Joyce was born and raised in Togo, West Africa. She attended Penn Valley Community College and graduated in 2008 with Associates Degree in Nursing. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with South University online program in 2015
She is a registered nurse (RN) at Saint John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. Joyce has been with Light in the World Development Foundation since 2012 and is a proud mother of four. She serves on the Board without a salary.
Pastor Amos Adessouka-
Project Committee Coordinator
Amos was born and raised in Lagos, Africa. He started a ministry called Powerhouse Ministries in 1985 in Nigeria. In 1990 he began working as an Interim Pastor with Parkers of Christ COGIC in Tulsa, OK. He is a graduate of Victory Bible
Institute in Tulsa, OK. He serves on the Board without a salary.
